Odorless turpentine is primarily used to clean brushes and painting tools used for oil paints. It is almost a scorched-down varnish that is produced from the distillation of crude oil. It is a slightly volatile solvent and, compared to balsamic turpentine, is slightly weaker but also toxic and harmful to health.
