All this is due to the composition of the stylus, which is based on a mixture of gum arabic, glycerine and bile. Crayons are an easy-to-learn alternative to traditional, harder watercolors. However, nothing prevents you from drawing them dry. Used without water, they mix well with each other, you can apply several layers (one on top of the other) to create interesting color effects. Widening the spectrum of colors both dry and wet is very simple. You can create unique shades yourself. Marino pencils are very soft, they are characterized by strong pigmentation, so even a gentle tug on the sheet leaves a distinctive, intense trail.
