Da Vinci's Black Sable 1640 Series natural round brushes are high-quality tools designed for oil painting. They have black sable bristles, which are a perfect compromise between bristles and red kolinsky bristles. With their increased stiffness, they resemble bristle brush painting, but without leaving visible strokes on the layers.
