The 0.60 mm thick swan neck French scraper is made of improved cold rolled spring steel. Its biggest advantage is the shape, which consists of various types of curves, which are perfect for machining rounded elements. Perfect for working with smoothing profiles, concavities in chair seats, round legs and backrest elements. These types of cyclins do not require deflection. With their help, you can get a perfectly finished wood surface without micro-scratches, which cannot be avoided when processing with sandpaper. They easily remove traces of milling, planing, cleaning joints and smoothing out uneven layers of varnish. The treated surface does not require any additional treatments. The cyclin is perfect for wood with irregular grains, or wood full of twists or knots. When well sharpened, it creates fine chips and the work is carried out without annoying dust.
We recommend using fine-grained stone stones for sharpening the edges.
Pre-treatment can be done with a diamond whetstone or a fine flat file.
