Odorless turpentine is primarily used to clean brushes and painting tools used for oil paints. It is almost a scorched-down varnish that is produced from the distillation of crude oil. It is a slightly volatile solvent and, compared to balsamic turpentine, is slightly weaker but also toxic and harmful to health.
It is applied in painting, ceramics, paint, matches and textile industries. Dense, very viscous liquid with the consistency of fresh honey and colour from straw to light brown. Smell of clean turpentine venetian is very specific, herb and resin.
