Oil Painting Primers

Golden Absorbent Ground is a high-quality white paint primer which, after drying, forms a highly absorbent substrate. The resulting surface is porous and resembles paper or raw cotton canvas.

Traditional, artistic oil primer. Used as an undercoat in oil painting. It compensates for unevenness of the surface, and is characterized by low absorption. Before painting, the primed surface should be perfectly dry. The ground consists of: slush chalk, titanium white, lithopone, polymerized linseed oil, linseed oil and balsamic turpentine.

Gesso white with an excellent level of pigmentation for maximum coverage. Dries very quickly, adheres perfectly to all non-greasy surfaces. After drying, it is matte and porous, which improves paint adhesion.
