Watercolors granulating fluid is a special liquid medium that gives an irregular, mottled or grainy appearance to watercolor paints, the pigments of which usually create smooth surfaces. Adding a granulation medium to the colors with pigments that are already granulating will further enhance this effect. For a more expressive effect, it is best to use medium instead of water and paint on rough paper. A softer effect will be obtained on hot press paper with a satin finish. It is recommended to paint horizontally.
