Dry wood pastes from the GIOCONDA line are a traditional and very popular product of KOH-I-NOOR HARDTMUTH. The range of these products is similar in assortment to round dry pastels known as TOISON D'OR 8500. The key ingredients of the pastels are very fine and finely ground natural ingredients based on carbonate calcium. There are also calcium minerals or chalk. Together with the remaining components and mixed factors, they form a basic structure to which pigments are carefully mixed. Pigments are obtained from renowned producers from around the world. The quality of the paint, resistance to light, durability and proper consistency affect the final result of the work. Thanks to the dimensions of the cartridge, 3.8 mm, this product presents great value for every user. Noble wood, from which the pencils are made, allow for easy sharpening. It is possible to draw even very small details. That is why they are suitable even for very accurate drawings and can be successfully used as a supplement to round dry pastels. The basic feature of round dry pastels is the ease of dispensing the right amount of color on paper or other material. This technique introduces unlimited possibilities to change the juiciness and intensity of color. Thanks to the appropriate amount of the applied color, we can easily achieve the shading of the drawing. For a ready image, it is recommended to use a fixative (fixative) that prevents smudging. None of the ingredients used in the production process contains toxic or harmful substances, so the crayons are suitable for users of all ages.
