Composed of 20% of the purest cotton fibers and 80% of cellulose, this high-quality paper is produced without the use of acids or chlorine derivatives, which ensures its exceptional durability and resistance to yellowing under UV rays. Ponte Vecchio paper is characterized by its naturally white color and rough, textured surface, making it ideal for a wide range of artistic techniques. It is particularly recommended for dry techniques such as pencil, charcoal and pastel drawing, but with moderate use of water it also works well for wet techniques such as watercolor, tempera, gouache and ink. Its unique texture allows you to create interesting artistic effects, allowing watercolor paints to flow freely and create interesting spots and streaks. The paper is double-sided and provides good washability of watercolor paint, adding to its versatility. Using only plant-based adhesives, Ponte Vecchio is vegan-friendly, an added benefit for environmentally conscious artists.
