Oil paints accessories

It is applied in painting, ceramics, paint, matches and textile industries. Dense, very viscous liquid with the consistency of fresh honey and colour from straw to light brown. Smell of clean  turpentine venetian  is very specific, herb and resin.

Odorless turpentine is primarily used to clean brushes and painting tools used for oil paints. It is almost a scorched-down varnish that is produced from the distillation of crude oil. It is a slightly volatile solvent and, compared to balsamic turpentine, is slightly weaker but also toxic and harmful to health.

High quality solvent for oil paints and alkyd paints, which can be used as a substitute for turpentine. This is the purest form of kerosene. The drying time of this product is slightly slower than turpentine, but has the same properties and quality

Double rectified turpentine oil by Roman Szmal. Obtained by distillation from high-quality coniferous resin.

Poppy seed oil - extracted from bright poppy seeds. Increases gloss, reduces brush marks, extends paint drying time. Very little yellowing better than linseed oil is suitable for mixing with bright colors.

White Spirit is a solvent with good dissolving power for oil paints and varnishes. It is a rectified distillate with an aromatic content below 20%. Suitable for cleaning brushes and palettes. capacity 150 and 250 ml.

Natural, refined linseed oil from Kruszpol available in various sizes. A classic medium used in oil painting, used to thin the paint and eliminate brush marks. Increases brightness and color saturation. Slows down drying time, slightly yellowing over time.

Cold-pressed linseed oil is a natural product from the first pressing of flax seeds. It is a binding ingredient for oil paints and painting media, as well as a binder for in-house made oil paints (except white color).

Miracle Medium from Michael Harding is a modern, eco-friendly painting medium that provides an alternative to traditional solvents such as turpentine. It is a biodegradable and odorless, plant-derived product that makes it easier to thin oil paints while increasing their transparency, without affecting drying time.

Schmincke Transparent Gel is a transparent gel for oil paints that increases transparency and gloss and reduces the viscosity of paints. It does not contain solvents. Capacity 120ml.

Schmicnke Mussini Medium 2 is a medium that delays the drying of oil paints, enables painting using the "wet on wet" method. It has a high oil and resin content and improves shine. Capacity 60ml.

Szmal oil-resin medium is a cheap but very popular and effective product. It is dedicated to oil technology and thanks to its properties it effectively improves the painting process and improves the final result of the work.

Although oil paints have long drying times, it is sometimes necessary to lengthen it. The Winsor & Newton medium - oil made from the seedlings of the safflower, a plant from the Asteraceae family, is a great solution.

Solvent for oil, alkyd and acrylic paints is a high quality Winsor & Newton product. It is a great substitute for turpentine, white spirit and other solvents because it thoroughly cleanses paint residues from any paint utensils such as brushes, spatula, pallets and paint mixing containers.

Xavier de Langlais egg matt medium - gives a velvety matte finish, reminiscent of tempera painting. Dilute the medium with water before adding oil paint. Adding the undiluted medium to the oil paint gives the effect of egg tempera.

Hydropower medium in the form of a gel allows you to mix oil paints with water instead of turpentine or linseed oil. There is no need to use harmful solvents, and cleaning tools with only soap and water becomes simple. As for drying and varnishing, proceed in the usual way as with any oil painting. The medium should be mixed with oil paints using a spatula in a ratio of 1:2 (medium: oil paint). Water can then be added to the mixture to further thin the paint, and if necessary, another part of Hydropower medium.
