Water Mixable Mediums

The quick-drying medium accelerates the drying of the hydr-oil series paints by about 50%. In addition, it facilitates the spreading of paint, smoothes and increases gloss and transparency. Ideally suited for glaze.

Painting medium for Artisan water-based oil paints. Increases paint smoothness and flow. Facilitates painting of details and details. It dries slowly creating a flexible coating. Apply by adding small amounts gradually, mixing directly with the paint.

Talens linseed oil from the Cobra series designed to be mixed with water. Linseed oil increases ink flow, which makes it possible to achieve smoother transitions between colors. It also increases transparency and gloss. Although linseed oil turns slightly yellow over time, it also provides a more stable paint film. 

Thinner dedicated to water-based oil paints, does not contain harmful solvents. It makes the paint more fluid and dries faster, making it ideal for applying the first layers of painting. Increases transparency and gives the paint a gloss. The brushstroke is more smooth and light.

Solvent-free brush cleaner. Suitable for traditional as well as water-based oil paints. To clean the brushes, pour a small amount of medium into the jar and wash the brushes with liquid. Then you need to wash the brushes in soapy water, after some time the pigments will separate and sink to the bottom. The final step is to reuse the brush cleaner.

Painting paste increases the volume of Cobra water-based oil paints manufactured by Royal Talens. The medium is reminiscent of colourless paint - it is characterized by the same consistency and density, so it is possible to have a uniform combination of these two products. There are no restrictions in the mixing ratio of paint and paste, but adding more media results in a higher degree of transparency and less colour saturation.

The 091 Paint Medium is designed for Cobra water-based oil paints manufactured by Royal Talens. It facilitates the distribution of paint, brush strokes become less pronounced and more subtle. Increases the durability of the paint layers.

Glazing Medium 092 is a Royal Talens product to be used in conjunction with Cobra water-based paints.

Artisan water-based accelerating dye. It keeps the paint smooth, light consistency, smoothing the brush strokes and increasing their clarity. Apply directly to the paint mixing by gradually adding small amounts. Shake before use.

This is a variant dedicated to the Cobra water-based oil paints of the Dutch company Royal Talens. It protects images from dust, dirt and other contaminants that could adversely affect the look of the works. Prevents yellowing (does not itself cause yellowing on the image) and protects against cracks.

Winsor & Newton Artisan Water Mixable Mediums, Impasto is an impasto and texturing medium for use with Artisan water-soluble oil colours. This stiff, quick-drying medium retains brush marks when mixed with Artisan Colour.
