Thanks to traditional production methods with the use of a cylindrical paper machine, it has a natural and harmonious texture, similar to handmade paper. Thanks to this technique, the fibers are evenly distributed, and the paper is more stable and resistant to deformation. This dimensional stability allows the paper to stretch evenly when wet. Arches watercolor paper is subjected to a unique process of sizing with natural gelatin during production, which gives it unparalleled resistance to scratching and ensures faithful color reproduction. Arches paper is durable according to ISO 9706 and protected against mildew. Bright white paper is slightly lighter than natural white. It thus provides optimal storage options.
