Da Vinci anschiesser natural flat gilding brushes. They have long bristles made from the hair of the tails of blue Russian squirrels. Recommended for conservation work. They have a green cardboard binding. Before applying the gold foil with the brush, the bristles should be dragged over the hand or hair, in order to lubricate the brush and create an electrostatic charge that keeps the metal foil on the brush. The total length of the brushes is 10 cm.
