Soft Touch Velour Varnish for decoupage is a water-based product that, when applied, creates a matte, velvety finish with a distinctive velour texture that can be felt to the touch. The varnish is characterized by a thin consistency, so it spreads easily and reaches even hard-to-reach places. It can be used on a variety of surfaces, such as wood, metal, glass, ceramic, plastic or stone, both on matte surfaces covered with chalk and acrylic paints and on glossy surfaces. It is not resistant to extreme weather conditions, especially frost, so it works best in interiors.
Directions for use:
The varnish is applied with a flat, soft brush in several thin coats, with a particularly interesting effect after 2-3 coats, when the surface acquires a characteristic soft texture. The drying time of a single coat is about 8 hours, and the surface reaches full durability after 24 hours.
