Purpurin is a very fine powder found in various metallic colors. Used to fill cracks in decoupage, it can also be used as a metallic paint, when dissolved in liquid preparations based on alcohol or as a metallic varnish after dissolving in alcohol-based varnishes. An interesting effect can also be obtained by mixing purpurin with a colorless wax, then a paste is created that can be rubbed into any surface.
Apply a small amount of purpurin to the cracks with a soft cloth or sponge and rub. Protect the work enriched with cracks with varnish.
