Schmincke AQUA DROP are unique liquid watercolors of the highest quality, which have authentic artist pigments instead of commonly used dyes. As a result, they provide not only color intensity, but also durability and lightfastness. Each of the basic color palette included in the set is based on single pigments and features light sensitivity of 4/5 or 5/5 stars, and is cadmium-free. The paints are fully water-based and compatible with various types of watercolors including the
HORADAM and AKADEMIE series. They are also enriched with Opaque White watercolor medium, which is the equivalent of opaque white among watercolor paints. They are ideal for watercolor painting, urban sketching, calligraphy, handlettering or even airbrushing. Each color is housed in a practical pipette bottle that facilitates precise dispensing and has a ball at the bottom to aid even mixing of the pigment with the binder.
