The palette contains 140 colors, including:
- 117 monopigmentowych;
- 45 ground colors all of which, unlike many known companies' products, were made of pigments obtained from grinding rocks, not synthetic iron pigments;
- 11 modern quinacridone colors;
- and a dozen paints delaminating - among them compositions not found elsewhere: Aquarius Green, Przybysz's Gray, Ocean Blue, as well as olive greens.

Usually, delamination can be done with paints composed of two or more pigments. This is done to take into account the physical action between paint components, differences in the size of individual grains and in the sedimentation rate, which results in uneven use of pigmentation in stained water, and in effects also on paper.
 
The stratification can also be subjected to monopigment paints, made of various fossil pigments with a crystalline structure, which are heterogeneous due to nature.

All AQUARIUS watercolors are characterized by very high lightfastness - min. 7 in BLUE WOOL SCALE which means a minimum of 100 years of durability with proper work exposure.
 
Labels on watercolor cubes are made of watercolor paper painted with original paint and contain information on lightfastness, granulation, transparency and the degree of pigment penetration into the paper.
