Talens gel medium is a product designed for acrylic paints. It reduces gloss, increases transparency and viscosity of paints and visibility of brush strokes. It facilitates the application of thick layers of paint, so it is ideally suited for impasto technique. The medium has adhesive properties, which allows it to be combined with a variety of materials, such as sand, cardboard, wood. It has a milky, thick consistency that becomes dry after drying. The drying time depends on the thickness of the applied layer. Medium should be used above 10ºC and avoid risk of freezing. Created based on acrylic resin and thickener.
