Final gloss varnish for oil paints protects against oxidation, preserves and protects the painting against moisture, dust, soot and other harmful chemical compounds in the atmosphere. The final varnish gives the image an even gloss and a protective layer. Composition: cyclohexane resin, turpentine.
- dries up in a few hours
- durable and does not turn yellow
- gives shine and slows down the aging process of oil paints
- easily removable with mild solvents
- it can be thinned with turpentine or white spirit
- apply when the paint layer is completely dry (from 6 to 12 months depending on the thickness of the paint layer)
- gloss intensity can be changed by mixing with the mat varnish
