The colours remain intense after drying, even in case of significant dilution with water. The paints are characterized by high lightfastness and excellent distribution on the surface. The clarity and fluidity of watercolors result in uniform, stripped lacing and excellent transparent effects. Cotman's watercolors can be purchased at affordable prices, as Winsor & Newton has replaced expensive expensive pigments in this series, but still have high quality counterparts.
