It is a slightly volatile solvent and, compared to balsamic turpentine, is slightly weaker but also toxic and harmful to health.

White Spirit (white spirit) is a solvent with good dissolving power for oil paints and varnishes. It is a rectified distillate with an aromatic content below 20%. Suitable for cleaning brushes and palettes.
