Schmincke Oil Impasto is a pasty oil technique medium. It emphasizes the natural color and smooth character of the paint. It accelerates and supports even drying of the material, even after applying thicker layers. The product does not change its properties when mixed with various pigments.
Mix with oil paint in a proportion of 10% to a maximum of 30%. Always use a spatula to thoroughly mix the medium with the paint. The product squeezed straight from the tube is ready for use. If necessary, it can be diluted eg with turpentine substitute 50019. Tools should be cleaned immediately after use. For example brush cleaner 50052 are recommended.
Close immediately after use. Store in a cool and dry place.
